The Working Certificate (WC) and Working Certificate Excellent (WCX) tests were established by the Golden Retriever Club of America to encourage the use of and to maintain the natural hunting and retrieving abilities of golden retrievers. They are non-competitive tests of marking and retrieving upland game on land and waterfowl on water.

CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMATION ASSESSMENT (CCA)
The Noncompetitive Conformation Assessment Program is one that was created by the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA). It provides for a Certificate of Conformation Assessment (CCA) that can be earned by Goldens over the age of 18 months who are AKC or CKC registered, or who have an AKC ILP number. Spayed and neutered Goldens are expressly permitted, as well as those owned by non-members of the GRCA.

A match show is for dogs ages 3 months and up. They are primarily used by handlers for young and inexperienced dogs to gain experience and to practice their handling skills. Entries are made the day of the show, or with pre-entries. Wins at match shows do not earn any points towards Championships or legs towards obedience or agility titles. In conjunction with our regular classes our club offers an additional sweepstakes class at our match show. The sweepstakes class is only for puppies (3-18 months).
